The members of William L. Schmidt & Associates believe that service in the legal profession requires a strong commitment to the support of worthwhile civic institutions. Members serve as officers, board members and volunteers in a host of civic, religious, philanthropic and service organizations. The spirit of public service carries over to the legal community where firm members are active in local and state bar activities as well as providing pro bono services. The founding member of the firm has served on the board of directors of the Salvation Army in Fairfax County, Western Fairfax Christian Ministries and the City of Fairfax Band. He has previously served as chairman of the Fairfax Salvation Army Board of Advisors and as secretary of the Board of Directors of Western Christian Ministries. For the past past twenty (22) years at the Giant in Clifton, Virginia you will find our founding member ringing the bell for the Salvation Army.

27th Annual Food Drive
We need your help this year to help feed the people in Fairfax County that are considerably less fortunate than us.

The food pantry at the Salvation Army on Ox Road has barren shelfs as of November 2016. They are in desperate need of non-perishable food items. They are also running extremely low on personal hygiene items.  Gift cards to grocery stores are also acceptable if that is easier for you to deliver. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated by our firm, the Salvation Army, and especially to those that will be receiving these items.

If you would like to donate, please bring your items to our office.
Every Saturday during the holiday season Bill rings the bell for the Salvation Army. This year marks his 24th consecutive year. If you would like to make a donation, click the red kettle to the right and it will take you directly to Bill's fundraising page.
